To ensure your AuraOrient heritage pieces remain beautiful for years to come, please follow these gentle care guidelines:
- Wash with Care: We highly recommend hand washing in cold water to protect delicate fabrics and intricate embroidery. If you must use a washing machine, place the garment in a mesh laundry bag and use the gentlest cold-water cycle available.
- Never Tumble Dry (Crucial): Please DO NOT put your Hanfu in a dryer! Heat and tumbling will permanently destroy traditional pleats and cause severe shrinkage.
- Air Dry Only: Gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring tightly) and air-dry flat or hang in a shaded, well-ventilated indoor area. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent vibrant colors from fading.
- Ironing & Steaming: To keep your pleated skirts crisp and flowing, use a garment steamer on a low-to-medium setting. Avoid pressing a hot, flat iron directly onto delicate embroidery.
- Proper Storage: For long-term storage, fold your garments neatly and store them flat in a breathable garment bag or drawer. Avoid hanging heavy pieces for extended periods to prevent the fabric from stretching out of shape.
